You have found the CPR Steam Locomotive database. It is still a "Work in Progress" but currently holds some 8000 records which document the history and lifecycle of all 3,257 steam locomotives the Canadian Pacific Railway has operated between the years 1881 and 1961 (and owned till today). The site also contains over 500 photographs, and stories associated with many of the locomotives, as well as the location and the current status of locomotives still in existence.

This site is a database, not a static site. As such you can generate the roster for any month of any year, lists by locomotive types or by builders, lists of locomotives acquired or disposed of for any year, and much more.
